Leek, King Richard 6-pack

King Richard Leeks are an early producing variety that produces 30 cm (12") long, thick, sweet white stems that have a mild, but rich onion flavor.  Enjoy fresh, grilled, or sauteed, and can be added to soups and stews.  Harvest leeks when tops are 38-45 cm (15-18") tall, and shanks are at least 2.5 (1") in diameter.
