Tradescantia, Blushing Bride
C$6.00Price
As welcome as the flowers, shiny emerald leaves emerge in spring with pink markings that mature to white at the base of each leaf. The variegated foliage gives the appearance of a bloom even before it flowers. Three petal Ed white flowers blushed with pink are then nestled throughout the colourful foliage in summer.
Variegation lasts longest in part shade and/or cool nights. Foliage will mature to green or green with a splash of white in full sun or warmer temperatures, but then the flowers take over.
